Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join the engineering team at Restart Technology and build fast, responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for custom applications and enterprise systems serving clients across the GCC, North America, and Europe. You will turn UI/UX designs into pixel-accurate interfaces and work closely with backend developers and designers to ship high-quality products. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo.

What you will do

  • - Build interactive, fast, and responsive web interfaces that match UI/UX designs with high precision.
  • - Build reusable components and manage application state in a clean, organized way.
  • - Integrate interfaces with RESTful APIs, handling data and error states.
  • - Optimize interface performance, load speed, and user experience while following accessibility and SEO best practices.
  • - Support Arabic and English, including right-to-left (RTL) layouts.
  • - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and take part in code reviews.
  • - Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver features on time.
  • - Test interfaces across browsers and devices and resolve issues.
  • - Keep up with modern frontend technologies and tools and suggest improvements.

What we are looking for

  • - 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
  • - Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.js (at least one in depth).
  • - Experience with Tailwind CSS or a modern CSS framework, and building responsive interfaces.
  • - Experience working with RESTful APIs and state management tools.
  • - Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
  • - Good understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals.
  • - Ability to turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate interfaces.
  • - Good English to read technical documentation and communicate with the team.
  • - Ability to work on-site from our Cairo office under the hybrid schedule.
  • - Nice to have: experience with Next.js and server-side rendering.
  • - Nice to have: experience writing frontend tests (Jest / Cypress / Playwright).
  • - Nice to have: experience building design systems and using Storybook.
  • - Nice to have: knowledge of Node.js or React Native.
