Team Lead – Mobile Development

We are looking for a Team Lead – Mobile Development to lead the mobile engineering team at Restart Technology and build high-quality iOS and Android applications for clients across the GCC, North America, and Europe. You will combine technical leadership with hands-on development, and own delivery quality and the growth of your team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo.

What you will do

  • - Lead and guide the mobile development team, assign tasks, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • - Make architectural and technical decisions for mobile apps (iOS, Android, and cross-platform) and choose the right technologies for each project.
  • - Contribute hands-on to development, write core code, and solve complex technical challenges.
  • - Conduct code reviews and establish quality standards and best practices within the team.
  • - Coordinate with backend, design, QA, project management, and clients.
  • - Manage release processes and app publishing on the App Store and Google Play.
  • - Improve app performance, stability, security, and user experience.
  • - Coach and mentor developers, evaluate performance, and support their professional growth.
  • - Contribute to task estimation, project timelines, and progress reporting.

What we are looking for

  • - 6+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 2 years leading a team or mentoring developers.
  • - Deep proficiency in at least one of: Flutter, React Native, or native development (Swift / Kotlin).
  • - Experience publishing real apps to the App Store and Google Play and managing release cycles.
  • - Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, state management, local storage, and push notifications.
  • - Knowledge of app architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, and mobile testing.
  • - Experience with mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, Codemagic, or GitHub Actions).
  • - Good understanding of app security and performance optimization.
  • - Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, and the ability to balance hands-on work with team management.
  • - Good English to work with technical documentation and international clients.
  • - Ability to work on-site from our Cairo office under the hybrid schedule.
  • - Nice to have: experience with both native and cross-platform development.
  • - Nice to have: experience with Firebase and offline-first apps.
  • - Nice to have: experience building bilingual apps with Arabic and RTL support.
  • - Nice to have: experience integrating payment gateways, maps, and delivery services.
